Yes. One static WAN IP address with one, five, or thirteen additional addresses may be requested. Note that these IP addresses are configured on your equipment dynamically by our system (DHCP) and each additional device must have a unique and valid MAC address to receive the additional static IP.
No. All WAN IP addresses, whether static or dynamic, are provided to your devices via DHCP and must have a unique and valid MAC address.

No. One static IP plus either one, five, or thirteen additional addresses are the only quantities supported. i.e. Totals of 1, 2, 6, and 14 are the only options. You may not, for example, combine +1 and +5 to get +6 additional static IPs, or combine +1 and +1 to get +2 additional IPs.
Omni Fiber does not support a dynamic WAN IP with additional static IP(s) on the same account. Separate accounts / orders / sites are required to mix provisioning. Please contact us to discuss these options.
If using default/individual static IP provisioning, the highest IP address(es) issued to you will be reclaimed. If you wish to elect specific IPs to retain, please contact Technical Support before submitting your change order.
If you elected CIDR provisioning at the time of install, your existing IPs will change and a new CIDR block will be issued to you.

No. Reclaimed IP addresses are returned to the assignment pool and may be provided to another customer. Specific IPs may not be requested.

No. The Omni Fiber provided router only supports a single static WAN IP. You must provide your own router, switch, or firewall equipment to use additional static WAN IPs.

Ensure we have your correct and current MAC address for your device registered in our system. If the MAC address has changed, please contact Technical Support to update it in our system.
If you're still having trouble, ensure your device has 802.1p Priority Bit Tagging (VLAN 0) support and that it is enabled on the WAN interface.

The netmask for WAN IPs is provided to your equipment automatically by DHCP and may vary or change over time. Omni Fiber Internet does not support static or manual IP configuration of the WAN interface.
A unique and valid MAC address is a MAC address assigned by a vendor and burnt into the port or card of a device.
The address must be:
- Vendor-issued and universally administered - MAC addresses cannot be administratively or locally assigned and must have the Universal bit set in the address
- A vendor/universal MAC address will have the 2nd character as "0" "4" "8" or "C". Examples:

- A vendor/universal MAC address will have the 2nd character as "0" "4" "8" or "C". Examples:
- Unicast - Multicast MAC addresses are not permitted (addresses which meet the above 2nd character restrictions are not multicast)
- Currently assigned to or in use by any other customer or device on our network
- Cloned, spoofed, or randomly generated addresses of a device that is not in the customer's direct possession
- By providing us with your MAC address, you certify that the device originally assigned that address is in your direct possession. Using a cloned or spoofed address is a violation of Omni Fiber's Terms of Service and may lead to service suspension or termination.
- Assigned for use by a protocol - MAC addresses assigned to protocols (e.g., beginning with 00-00-5E or 00-00-0C) are not permitted. This includes MAC addresses for most virtual IP and redundancy protocols such as VRRP and HSRP
- All zeros (00-00-00-00-00-xx) or a derivative thereof
- Currently assigned to or in use by any other customer or device on our network
No. Each WAN IP address must use DHCP and must have a valid and unique MAC address.

Additional IPs can be configured as "routed to" the first static IP, thus avoiding the need for DHCP on additional IPs. If the device you are using does not support DHCP on the WAN interface, you may work around this by ordering additional static IPs and using an intermediary device (not provided). This intermediary device would perform DHCP on the WAN interface and directly route the additional static IPs to the local LAN interface. You must purchase at least 5 additional IPs to use this option. See the question "Does Omni Fiber support additional static IPs via routing instead of DHCP?"

Yes. The initial static IP and router device must use DHCP on its WAN interface. However, any additional IPs can be configured as "routed to" the first static IP, thus avoiding the need for DHCP on additional IPs. If you elect this option, please note this on your order or to your installation technician upon install.
No. Individual static IPs are assigned from available inventory and may not be contiguous.
Yes, but only in as a "routed to" configuration for the additional IPs. The additional static IPs will be routed as a contiguous CIDR block in increments of 2 (/31), 4 (/30), 8 (/29), or 16 (/28)
Note that if the requested size or number of IPs changes by you in the future, Omni Fiber may need to re-issue you new (different) IPs to complete your request and you must return the original CIDR allocation.
For contiguous CIDR IP blocks assigned to a customer greater than or equal to /29, you may request Omni Fiber to SWIP the block to you in ARIN's database. Due to technical limitations, this reassignment does not currently take place automatically.
Note that Omni Fiber will only perform a SWIP Reassignment. Reallocation, resale, reassignment, or transfer of Omni Fiber IPs is not permitted.

Under very limited conditions (such as an ongoing cyberattack), you may request Omni Fiber to re-issue you new IPs. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Note that Omni Fiber will not issue new IPs to evade a block, ban, filter, or legal request by any site or Internet entity due to abuse or negligence by you, your devices, or other users on your network.
While static IPs are provided to you on a "static" basis, they are not permanent assignments to you. Under very limited conditions, Omni Fiber may have to re-issue you new IPs. You will be notified in advance of the change should this be required. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause customers.
No. Omni Fiber Internet does not support customer-provided or "bring your own" IPs.
